I presume you are speaking about the hotel which later become known as the Valley Inn. The map certainly agrees with my memory of the hotel almot exactly. My father bought the farm next door (west) known as Poongaskraal in about 1960 or so. We would often visit the hotel to swim while the adults had drinks. The hotel was host to the movie makers when Majuba was filmed. Some scenes were shot at the hotel itself. That was around 1967 or so. |
